A One-of-a-Kind Summer Camp
Let your child embark on an unforgettable summer adventure at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Summer Camp! This isn’t just any camp—it’s a journey through time, nature, and discovery in one of Florida’s most iconic and breathtaking locations.
Beneath the towering lighthouse, young adventurers will explore Florida’s land, sea, and sky. They’ll dive into marine ecosystems, uncover history through storytelling and scavenger hunts, and connect with Florida’s geography. Reaching for the stars, they will explore and learn about astronomy. Along the way, they’ll encounter Florida’s incredible wildlife—from gentle manatees to tiny insects—through hands-on experiences and sanctuary visits.

Uncover 5,000 years of history at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Walk in the footsteps of Native Americans, pioneers, and lighthouse keepers through hands-on activities and storytelling.

Summer Camp 2025 Weekly Details
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce our new summer program, designed to engage curious minds and adventurous spirits ages 7–13. Each weekly session brings a unique theme, exciting activities, and the opportunity to explore the wonders of Florida’s natural and cultural heritage.
Nature is always part of our weekly themes. Unearth the beauty and science of Florida’s flora and fauna. Each week’s activities include nature hikes, nature journaling, and creative arts and crafts projects inspired by nature and the theme of the week.
- Sessions are 9 AM-3:30 PM with a snack included- campers pack lunch
- Weekly rate: $400.00 for non members/$375 for members
- Limited to 20 Campers Per Week — Register early to secure your child’s place!

Dive into the fascinating world of Florida’s waterways. Explore marine ecosystems, learn about conservation, and enjoy hands-on activities that make a splash!

Step into the shoes of early settlers and explorers. Discover Florida’s rich history through interactive storytelling, scavenger hunts, and guided tours!

Reach for the Stars at Nature: Land & Sky Week
Explore the lighthouse grounds, discover Florida’s coastal geography, and gaze at the stars with a telescope lesson from the Cox Science Center!

Discover Florida’s Wildlife at Animals: Big & Small Week
From majestic manatees to tiny insects, uncover the fascinating lives of Florida’s creatures. Get up close with wildlife through sanctuary visits and hands-on experiences!
Explore Jupiter’s Best-Kept Treasures
Each week, campers will embark on exciting field trips that bring their camp experience to life! From wildlife encounters to hands-on history, these local excursions deepen their connection to Jupiter’s rich culture and environment.
Campers will hike scenic trails, visit wildlife sanctuaries, and explore marine ecosystems, meeting the creatures that call Florida home. They’ll also step back in time with visits to historic landmarks and cultural sites, uncovering the stories that shaped this coastal town. Every adventure is designed to educate, inspire, and create lasting memories!

The Loxahatchee River Historical Society is an independent nonprofit membership organization with 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt status. The Society is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services as #CH3759. The Society does not employ or receive services of any professional solicitor. All contributions made to the Society are used exclusively and entirely for Society services, programs, and operations.
This activity is conducted under permit from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and occurs all or in part on public lands administered by the BLM within the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.
By participating, you grant the Loxahatchee River Historical Society and its designated agents permission to photograph or record video of the activity and use the resulting media for promotional and archival purposes.
