Hey, History Enthusiast! Celebrate the rich history and natural beauty of the Loxahatchee River region on our special day! Immerse yourself in living history presentations, enjoy guided tours of the historic site, and experience firsthand the daily life of Florida’s early settlers at the Tindall House.

Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for an entertaining day out, Loxahatchee River Heritage Day promises a fun and enlightening experience. Our passionate experts are ready to share their insights and stories, making history come alive through books and interactive displays. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to step back in time!

Presentations will be held throughout the day in classrooms and will include Chris Davenport, a local Palm Beach County Archaeologist who will highlight Northern Palm Beach County Archaeology at 10:30 a.m. followed by Thomas Gidus presenting history about Jupiter Shipwrecks at 11:30 a.m. Finally, Josh Liller will be sharing two presentations about Tales from Jupiter’s Lighthouse Keepers and Town In Transition – The Growth of Jupiter from 1953 to 1987 at 1 and 2 p.m., respectively.
