Family Adventure Day

Embark on an unforgettable journey through time at our Family Adventure Day! Step into the world of Charlie Pierce and bring the pages of Harvey Oyer’s The Adventures of Charlie Pierce to life.

This unique event invites kids and families to explore the rich history of Jupiter, Florida, through immersive activities, community performances, and interactive guidebooks. As they walk through history, participants will encounter the fascinating stories and vibrant events of Charlie’s era, learning about the past in a fun and dynamic way.

Interactive Storytelling & Performances:
Relive The Adventures of Charlie Pierce with live performances and captivating tales.

Hands-On Activities:
Pioneer games, crafts, and demonstrations bring frontier life to you.

Guided Lighthouse Tours & Nature Exploration:
Clim the iconic lighthouse and discover Jupiter’s unique ecosystem on scenic trails.

Community Collaboration:
Enjoy activities created with local schools, community partners, and performers for a day filled with creativity and connection!

Food Trucks:
Savor delicious bites from local food trucks, offering a variety of family-friendly options to fuel your adventure!

Ticket Prices:
$15 per adult
$10 per child (ages 6-18)
FREE for children 5 & under!

Information:
Food will be available for purchase.
Children must be at least 48” tall to climb the Lighthouse and accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are not refundable and not for re-sale. Tickets are only valid if purchased directly from our website.
Please leave at home: pets, coolers, food, drink, tripods, and selfie sticks.

The Loxahatchee River Historical Society is an independent nonprofit membership organization with 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt status. The Society is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services as #CH3759. The Society does not employ or receive services of any professional solicitor. All contributions made to the Society are used exclusively and entirely for Society services, programs, and operations.

This activity is conducted under permit from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and occurs all or in part on public lands administered by the BLM within the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.

This event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable and not for resale. Please plan accordingly and dress for the weather.

By participating in this event, you grant the Loxahatchee River Historical Society and its designated agents permission to photograph or record video of the activity and use the resulting media for promotional and archival purposes.
